FAQ

How much room do I need for the dens?

Using the foam mattresses we say about 80cm in width per tent and they are 140cm in length. You do need a bit more room for the breakfast trays but if you are short on space and we can bring the smaller alternative. If using the airbeds then we need 90cm width by 190cm in length.

How long is the hire?

Hire is for 24 hours unless otherwise stated. If you would like another night hire then this can be arranged so please speak to us. Bell tents are hired out Friday – Monday. You can book for midweek or just one night but there isn’t a reduction in price.

Do I get everything in the picture?

No. Sometimes our pictures show items customers have added, or if they have chosen to add something on like the photobooth. Also, we do update themes and need to replace broken items we can’t be sourced so alternatives will used.

What is included?

Every den comes with a foam/air mattress, base sheet, blanket, scatter cushions, fairy lights, breakfast tray, lantern and popcorn holder. (Sorry popcorn not included!)

Do I need to do anything?

The only thing we need from you is a clear room so we can set up … and maybe a cuppa if its raining! We set everything up and pack it all away the next day. Delivery is free 10 miles from S5 9FW, locations out of this radius will incur a small delivery charge.

Is hire seasonal?

For the dens no, these can be set up all year round. For the bell tents yes, bell tent season starts in April and finishes at the end of September.

How long does it take to set up?

It depends on how many dens and extras that need setting up but as a guide up to 3 will take 30-40 mins, and up to 6-8 60-70 mins.

The bell tent usually takes 1.5hrs for the 4m and 2hrs for the 5m.

How much room do I need for the bell tent?

The four meter needs 6m x 6m of space for stretching out the guy ropes. The five meter needs 7m x 7m. We need to see a picture of the space before the booking is confirmed to check the land over.

Can you pitch on artificial grass?

Sorry we cannot pitch on artificial grass. We have done before and we feel it is too unsafe as the pegs cannot grip the tent down enough and a change in weather could have a dangerous implications.
