About Just JimJams
Hi, I’m Sarah, founder and creator of Just JimJams Sleepovers & Celebrations South Yorkshire.
I’m a mum to Annabelle and Charlotte, my biggest inspirations and the creative spark behind many of our magical themes. With my husband Carl cheering me on (and kindly tolerating a house full of party equipment!), Just JimJams truly is a family-built dream.
The idea began in June 2019, when I started searching for a business that would fit around family life once my youngest started school. Then I discovered luxury sleepover parties – and instantly fell in love. By September 2019, Just JimJams was launched, and I haven’t looked back since.
When Coronavirus temporarily paused celebrations, I refused to let the magic stop. Instead, I adapted – creating Covid-secure experiences, from contactless garden parties to themed bell tent staycations, bringing adventure, imagination and excitement right to families’ back gardens. From jungle adventures to chic, girly glam sleepover experiences, it’s been a joy turning outdoor spaces into unforgettable moments.
As celebrations changed, so did Just JimJams. With smaller gatherings becoming more popular, I introduced new concepts like the Luxe Picnics, adding elegance, creativity and a sprinkle of fairy-tale magic to intimate parties. And to finish off the styling we adapted and started Balloons to help keep all your party needs in one place.
In September 2021, Just JimJams was awarded Highly Commended – New Business of the Year at The Sheffield Star Small Business Awards. A huge honour for a small business built with love, passion and a whole lot of sparkle!
Today, I continue to dream up new ways to help families celebrate. Because every child deserves a party that feels truly special – and every parent deserves a stress-free, beautifully styled experience.

How cute are the balloon details? From the personalized cup to the Sephora bag and cute cherries, every detail made this celebration so special. 💖
It was lovely to be back here, a customer I've visited every year for five years I believe now! And actually a customer who is affectionately known as the apple tree lady 😂 because she has the most delicious apples 💕

The most annoying thing about social media has to be organising a post for it not to upload correctly and lose everything you wrote 🙈 happens to me alot! And then I'm like what on earth did I write?! That's what happened when I tried uploading this set up!
Here's a throwback to the summer with my Under the Sea theme back out. This theme was meant to be retired I'd packed it away but then got a request so out it goes!
I do try to do my part by offering raffle prizes, obviously I cannot give to everyone who asks but this one was for the 105th Scouts (High Green) and this was my winners set up! They chose Pokémon as their theme for a boys slumber party!
Another throwback from the summer - our gaming theme was out for the first time in years! I really do think it's been years since this one was out, I don't get many requests for boys parties and glow party is usually chosen so this made a nice change!
Catching up from this summer ... Our 4m bell tent was out dressed in Rose Gold theme. Look at that blue sky I still can't get over how much of an amazing summer we've had this year 💕

I've been enjoying a day at the seaside before the girls start their new school year. And look at what I managed to win in the grabbers - a Jellycat cake teddy! And on my business birthday too!
It was an epic win - I was trying to win it in the first machine when it flicked off and ended up in the neighbouring machine. So I had to try in that machine and ended up winning it. Only cost me £2, I'm a happy lady 🤣 I ended up winning a Positive Potato for Charlotte later too - apparently the machines were paying out today 🤣
Anyway here's to the 8th year of business! 🎉
